The aim of education is to nurture the various talents lying dormant within students in such a way that they attain their ultimate fulfillment as human beings. Through this, they become capable, self-reliant, and responsible citizens who contribute to nation-building, social upliftment, and ultimately, service to God.
Keeping this noble goal in mind, students must strive to understand its meaning and depth. A spirit of inquiry, an independent mind, and an enthusiasm that never fades will raise you to greatness. Progress and growth are the finest rewards of continuous hard work. You must make every effort to fully develop the character and abilities entrusted to you.
Do not become boats that drift aimlessly with the current. Instead, develop the ability to observe carefully, discern between good and evil, accept what is good, and reject what is harmful. A spirit of service, diligence, and dedication should grow within you. Always remember that many of our beloved leaders have taught us that earning one’s livelihood through honest work is a matter of pride.
Irrespective of caste or religion, you must move forward hand in hand in love and brotherhood. Show love and compassion to everyone, especially to the poor, and strive to live truthfully in all that you do.
Personality grows through character formation. In this development of personality, freedom holds an important place. However, you must clearly understand what true freedom really means.
